Reality is a Point of View is a provocation to begin a community dialogue on perspective. The objective of this exhibit is to remind us that we all wear various lenses and see from our own unique perspectives. Knowing that our sense of reality is shaped by our own point of view can help us better understand, each other, ourselves, and the world at large.
Miles Rogoish is a multi-disciplined contemporary artist who uses abstract art to convey complex emotions.
With an emphasis on large-scale art, the world is his canvas. Mirrors, wood, Plexi-glass-acrylic, cars, buildings, and houses are just some of the materials he uses.
Miles believes it’s up to all of us to paint our picture of the world we live in, and often many people only see what they want to when looking at others. By utilizing mirrors as his canvas, he visually represents these concepts. His abstract pieces convey the complexities of multiple emotions simultaneously.
Whether creating or visualizing something as simple as his clothes or expressing his love for his family, dogs, and friends, Miles believes life itself is an art form. Aside from painting, he is a production designer for feature films; he also loves riding motorcycles and old cars.
